The object of The Book Society is “to promote, share and extend knowledge to all those concerned in the creation, production and distribution of books and to discuss and initiate developments for the good of the book trade”. (Book Society Constitution).

We welcome nominations for membership from any members of the Book Society. All nominations need to be supported by a seconder. Nominations are approved by the Committee at regular intervals throughout the year. If you have any questions about the member nomination process, please contact the Hon Secretary.

The annual membership fee for 2025 is £60.00 and is due on 1st January 2025. To pay your membership, please log in and go to MY ACCOUNT. If you are not sure whether or not you have paid, this will be shown under MY ACCOUNT (non-paid member means not paid).
